Safety Tip from Throttle - Railroad Crossings

Return to tip of the week

Always try and cross railroad tracks at a 90 degree angle to the tracks. They are slick so the less distance you spend on them the better. Avoid accelerating or braking while crossing the tracks if possible. Railroad crossings can often be bumpy so slow down and be ready for a bump. If you have a passenger, let them know that they should be aware and hold on.
