First ride of the year for 2009. 19 bikes and 23 people braved the 27F temps for a quick ride to Glory Days in Broadlands.

The Annual Holiday Party hosted by OnTime and Ish, were every one is welcome and the food and drinks flow along with the friendship.

The weather was to beautiful to waste so Throttle and a few others made a run to Charlottesville for some Wayside Chicken!

Tank decides to go to IHOP for a Ride To Eat. Many thought it was a great idea and joined him.

SCRC Loudoun welcomes four new members to the club with an orientation ride through Loudoun County.

The season's first group ride of 2009 saw cool and damp conditions. Although 6 riders showed up, only 3 were up to the task. One for SCRC Loudoun, Zero for Mother Nature.

The Loudoun group gathered at Logan's in Sterling for our April chapter meeting.
|

As you can see from the pictures, everyone worked real hard. Well maybe not everyone. Anyways the Loudoun group came together and helped clean up the flower beds, transplant some flowers, and trim up the yard a bit for Gutter and his family.

Annual Club Day at Loudoun Motor sports. We again took 1st place with the most members showing up, getting a nice sum for our charities!

2nd Officer, Tank, led the group (18 bikes) to Mineral, VA. The weather was warm and the route very scenic. We lucked out in Mineral, as the 'Almost Heaven Smoked BBQ' was open for an American Legion event (their normally closed on Sundays). They welcomed us in and treated us to excellent food and service.

Annual Law Ride, this event is part of National Police week. The Law Ride pays tribute to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty and have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the community.

Mongo led the SCRC Loudoun chapter for some pizza and ice cream on Father's Day.
|
|
|
|
Dan led us on a ride to High Rock and then to Antietam. We had a tasty lunch at the Cozy Restaurant and a Dan provided us with a brief bit of history of the battle at Antietam. The weather was fantastic and the company (as always) unbeatable.

A short loop through NoVA and into Maryland before ending up at Miss Behavin's house for lunch and pool time!

Throttle led a small group of riders down to Charlottesville for some BBQ. The route took the group along the foothills of the Shenandoah NP and then back up along Skyline drive. Although cloud cover was heavy at times, the sun did make an appearance a few times and the group manged to dance around the rain showers in the area.
