How did you hear about the SCRC and when did you join?
I heard about it from Franks youngest daughter Erin. After I got my bike I started talking to him about Rolling Thunder. So after I rode with the Southern Cruisers in 2014's Rolling Thunder I immediately joined.

How long have you been riding?
Off and on for 19 years but most of that time was off until 2014.

Have you ever taken a motorcycle safety course?
Yes, the one at NOVA.

What was your first bike?
Yamaha Virago, can't remember the year but she was purple.

How many bikes have you owned?
3

Why do you ride?
One word, Freedom. The freedom to saddle up and see where the road might take me.

Have you ridden with an organized group before?
Just you guys.

What modifications have you done to your bike?
Cycle shack slip on mufflers, stage one air filter, micro tuner, new grips, pegs and headlight trim ring.

What accessories do you want to add to your bike?
Brown solo seat, brown saddle bags, small fairing with matching paint.

What is your dream bike?
Victory Hardball, that thing is killer looking!!

What kind of riding do you like to do — straight-aways or twisties?
A little bit of both, but I need more practice on the twisties.

If you have a nickname, how did you get it? Tell the truth!
Tell the truth! Tor comes from when I was a kid. I skateboarded alot and so I drew a symbol with sk8tor on my board but the sk8 wore off. So people only saw Tor and they started calling me that. Sidewinder comes from the bridge day ride we did back in October of 2014. I side-winded right up the gravel driveway to the cabin.

What is your favorite riding route?
Any and all!!

Do you ride your bike to work?
I wish but i have a company vehicle i drive.

What is the fastest you’ve ridden?
88 and that's good enough for me.

What is your favorite time of year to ride?
Fall and Spring

Have you ever been down? If so, how were you hurt and what did you learn from the incident?
Thank god no and I pray it stays that way.

No but I'm eager as hell to do one.

If not, what is the furthest you’ve ridden?
Wooster, Ohio.

What was the worst weather in which you’ve ridden?
Rain and I'm talking about the hard sideways coming down that you can only see a few feet in front.

Do you know how to work on your bike?
Yes,thanks to the Air Force for teaching me how to wrench on anything.

What is your favorite road song?
Just the sound of the wind and my pipes.

What was your most adventurous ride?
Taking route 250 through West Virginia to Wheeling. I could hear the banjos in the background and I barely got out of 3rd gear for over an hour because of the road conditions and all the twisties.

What rallies or events do you like to attend?
I haven't had the chance to go to one yet but I'm hoping this is the year.

Is there someone who rides "two-up" with you?
My oldest daughter just started going small distances with me.

Off the cuff from...Pothole
I love riding, period. It doesn't matter if it's 20 minutes or 12 hours. I just love to saddle up and go and have a good time. Life's short and I just want to live the best, fun filled life one can live. Whether spending time with my girls or saddling up and taking off on the bike.
